About The National Quilt Museum
Come and visit The National Quilt Museum to learn and appreciate the art of quilting. You can do this through exhibitions, education programs, and quilt preservation efforts. There is a lot to see and experience for all quilters and non-quilters alike!

The National Quilt Museum believes that quilters are artists and that there is a lot to see and learn for all visitors. Everyone can come and enjoy the unique artwork of these accomplished artists.

Bill and Meredith Schroeder started The National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Kentucky. They both have a passion for quilting and wanted to help the art of quilting expand as well as celebrate its beauty!

The museum has collections of over 600 different works of art and they are still growing! Exhibits are rotated 10 to 12 times a year so there is always something new to see!

There are some great work-shops that you will definitely want to check out. Some of the most recognized quilters come to conduct these workshops. Hands-on experiences allow many to learn the art of quilting. You don't need any previous experience because there are different workshops for all skill levels. You can learn basic skills or learn more complex skills depending on your skill level.

The National Quilt Museum is open from 10 am to 5 pm.
General Adult Admission is $12
Seniors (62 and older) $11
Students $5
Under 12 is free with the accompaniment of an adult.
